Patricia Y. Doyle
Patricia Y. Doyle joined the firm in 2021 as Senior Counsel following eighteen years as a Probate Attorney with the Los Angeles Superior Court. Patricia analyzed thousands of submissions to the Probate court.
Patricia reviewed all types of petitions filed in decedent’s estate, trust and conservatorship proceedings, analyzed and interpreted complex legal issues, identified legal deficiencies, and made recommendations for tentative rulings by the Court. She also regularly advised the Court on matters of Probate law and responded to procedural questions from the Court, private attorneys and litigants.
Patricia has been a presenter at numerous educational programs for judicial officers, court staff and private attorneys on topics relevant to all types of proceedings that arise under the Probate Code.
Prior to joining the court Patricia practiced in the areas of estate planning, probate and trust administration, consumer bankruptcy and civil litigation. Her current practice includes all aspects of complex conservatorship, trust and probate administration as well as related litigation.
Patricia received her undergraduate degree from Brown University in 1984 and her law degree from Loyola Law School in 1994. She served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Vincent P. Zurzolo, Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California in 1993.
